This calendar is a work of art! The photos are beautiful and original, and it has all the info I need in a calendar. I highly recommend it!
The 2010 Steampunk Calendar received rave reviews from the family and friends to whom I gifted it for Christmas. It is a one-of-a-kind beautifully photographed calendar that also tells a funny, entertaining story that will continue via a Blog throughout the year. This item can be appreciated for its photography alone - but will especially be appreciated by fans of fantasy, Steampunk and the Victorian Era. It is perfect for those seeking environmentally-friendly, independently-produced alternatives to mass-produced wall calendars. I am looking forward to the next project from the Creative Team at Airship Delirium.
I've only just begun to use this 2010 calendar, of course, but I admit that I've peeked ahead. Really a very delightful method of producing a narrative - a journal that's also a calendar! I think that the font of the entries could be a little easier on the eyes, but they're mostly window dressing for the calendar's photos. They're a brilliant collection of images that paint a surprisingly deep portrait of Airship Delirium's navigator Emilia Hedgecock - the goggled, cute-as-a-button scholar and adventurer, capable of as much seriousness as whimsy. I do hope that future projects from the Delirium can provide a broader view of her crew and their exploits.
This calendar is beautiful and fun!!! The Navigator Emilia comes alive within the amazing photographs! I receive compliments from everyone who sees it in my office. Very imaginative and fun, this is a great item for gifts. I had ordered this same item for a higher cost elsewhere and ordered more for gifts. My thanks to the Airship Delirium for publishing this great calendar. I love keeping up with Navigator Emilia's adventures on her livejournal entries, too. Fun, fun, fun!!
